Background

Afribridge was started in November 2016 with a vision to prepare High school students through mentorship to be prepared for the transition into the workforce and community leadership to actively engage in economic, political and social issues in rural Kenya.

The Organization developed a structured mentorship curriculum which was implemented in July 2018 in King’atua Secondary School in Kinari, Kenya. The school acts as a pilot school with the goal of repeating the program in different rural high schools in Kenya.
